STILLWATER, Okla. – Duke sophomore Amina Maatoug culminated an outstanding inaugural cross country season at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday with a 28th-place finish and USTFCCCA All-America Honors.
The Leiden, Netherlands product finished the highly-competitive 6K race in 20:04.6 to become the 12th Duke woman all-time, and first since Juliet Bottorff did so in 2013, to be tabbed a USTFCCCA All-American.
After earning an at-large bid to the national meet following a ninth-place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional a week ago, senior Zach Kinne also closed the door on a solid cross country season of his own as he clocked 30:23.
