Fans of the Detroit Pistons were looking forward to seeing Luke Kennard compete in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, set to begin tomorrow. However, news out of the Pistons camp is that Kennard will not compete in Vegas due to an injury he picked up in practice.
Luke Kennard suffered a left knee strain in Monday's practices, so he'll be shut down for Summer League. Nothing serious and he's still in Vegas. Just being cautious.

Kennard was expected to be evaluated by new Pistons coach Dwayne Casey to determine whether he could be a primary ballhandler in his offense, but unfortunately he will not get that chance.
