JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Duke track and field opened action at the NCAA East Regional on Thursday with senior Luke Jackson headlining the day's performances as he punched his ticket to the NCAA Outdoor Championships for the second consecutive season via a record-breaking performance in the men's javelin.
Additionally, graduate student Nick Dahl and sophomore Beck Wittstadt each delivered strong performances to advance to the Friday quarterfinal round of their respective events.
