AUSTIN, Texas – The Duke track & field team closed out the second day of competition Thursday at the 92nd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin, Texas.
The multi-event athletes concluded the heptathlon as Kate Kutzer highlighted the performances for the Blue Devils.
Kutzer finished in 11th with a personal-best 4,971 points. In the final three events, Kutzer posted personal-best performances beginning with a sixth-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 5.74m. In the javelin, Kutzer notched another sixth place with a toss of 37.01 before closing out the heptathlon in the 800m with a time of 2:21.
