TULSA, Okla. – Duke women's golf rising sophomore Katie Li will close her summer action this week as she competes in the U.S. Women's Amateur Aug. 5-11 at the Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Li will be one of 155 golfers competing from ages 13 to 59 years. There will also be 30 different states represented along with 17 different countries.
Earlier this summer, Li claimed the title at the New Jersey Golf Association Women's Amateur with a 4&3 victory over Ami Gianchandani. With the win, Li received an invitation to play in the U.
