We didn’t have time to get to this yesterday but it is an interesting bit of news about the UNC scandal: Deborah Crowder, who worked in the AFAM department during the paper class period, has sent an affidavit to the NCAA.
She says everything was fine and done correctly and she only started grading papers herself despite not being a professor because her boss, Julius Nyang'oro, "began travelling so much he that he was unavailable to grade papers and thus placed this additional burden on me."
According to ESPN, she also claims that “she ensured papers met topic and length requirements while including appropriate citations, a bibliography and a signed honor pledge.
