Here’s the Duke Chronicle’s latest player profile and this time it’s freshman Jalen Johnson, the final member of the class to be profiled.
Johnson brings a ton of versatility to the court. At 6-9 and 220 lbs., he has guard skills and is a truly outstanding passer, as we saw in Saturday’s scrimmage.
Duke has had some really outstanding passing big men through the years, notably Danny Ferry and Josh McRoberts, both of whom really knew how to move the ball around and to think a pass or two ahead. Zion Williamson is also a highly underrated passer.
