DURHAM, N.C. – Duke junior Adam Laskey has earned 2018 Perfect Game/Rawlings First Team Collegiate All-America honors following a stellar summer season with the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League.
Laskey earned the CCBL’s 2018 Whitehouse Outstanding Pitcher Award after posting an unblemished 5-0 record while leading the league in wins. The left-hander from Barrington, N.J., yielded four earned runs on 19 hits over 30.1 innings, good for a 1.18 ERA.
Laskey’s summer All-American honor is the first for a Blue Devil since outfielder Griffin Conine was tabbed to the second team following his 2016 performance with the La Crosse Loggers in the Northwoods League.
