Shelden Williams was among the 14 players and coaches named ACC Legends on Wednesday.
We have to wonder about the pointlessness of naming guys like Rodney McCray and Pearl Washington though. They were great players for their schools of course, but none of the expansion School legends played a minute in the ACC.
Politically we understand the logic, but it’s stupid and makes no sense.
And we have one other question.
Antawn Jamison is on the list. He is certainly an ACC legend. He was an amazing player.
But we recall that he was an Afro-American and African studies major and he graduated in summer school.
