DURHAM, N.C. -- Sophomore Jack Labosky was named the Ronald McDonald House Charities Duke Student-Athlete of the Week after hitting .438 with 10 RBI to help the Duke baseall team to a 3-1 record this past week.
Labosky began the week with a game-tying RBI double in Duke's Tuesday victory over Liberty. He then helped the Blue Devils to their first road series win over Georgia Tech since 2000. Labosky had a monster outing Saturday against the 21st-ranked Yellow Jackets, going 4-for-5 with a double, two home runs, eight RBI and three runs scored.
