From January through March, Duke campus sees a whole village of tents pop up outside Cameron Indoor Stadium. For over 30 years, the Cameron Crazies have spent the winter months as residents of Krzyzewskiville just for the chance to attend the men’s basketball games.
The Crazies are a huge part of the team’s success, bringing energy into Cameron Indoor that helps the home team and intimidates visiting squads.
The Krzyzewskiville experience all culminates in the annual rivalry game with North Carolina. The team and coaches address the students in Cameron the night before the game and then the Cameron Crazies file in the next day for the biggest game of the year.
