DURHAM, N.Y. - Former runner and current volunteer assistant coach Madeline Kopp was named the Doriane Lambelet Award Winner as announced by the Niagara Track & Field Hall of Fame on Sunday afternoon.
Kopp concluded her collegiate career last spring at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. There was named second team All-American in both the 800m and the 4x400m relay. She also earned second team All-American honors at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in the 800m.
The Rochester, N.Y. native is in the top-five records all-time at Duke in 18 different events.
