New York Knicks coach David Fizdale invited Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski to visit the Knicks during training camp.
Krzyzewski was in New York to see high schooler AJ Griffin but said while it was a great thing for Fizdale to offer, he didn’t have time because “I don’t know if I can do that, we’re in practice.”
Naturally the subject of RJ Barrett came up and Coach K discussed his young protege’s prospects in the Big Apple, which he seems to be taking a big bite out of while waiting for the season to start.
Coach K: “The main thing is he seems like he really loves New York.
