Kirmser to be Inducted into Connecticut Lacrosse Hall of Fame

DURHAM – Former Duke men's lacrosse All-American goaltender Joe Kirmser has been selected for induction into the Connecticut Lacrosse Foundation Hall of Fame the organization recently announced. The ceremony will take place Jan. 20 in Stratford, Conn.

Joining Kirmser as 2024 inductees are Bradley Heritage, Colleen (Olsen) Kelly, Steve Luciano, Caroline McGuire, Ted Murphy, Robing Sheppard and Lang Clarke.

A native of Wilton, Conn., Kirmser was a four-year starter between the pipes for the Blue Devils from 1994-97. He played in 58 career games and amassed a Duke and ACC-record 847 saves for a 14.
