DURHAM, N.C. – For the third straight season, Duke University women's golf junior Gina Kim has earned All-America recognition from the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) as announced this week following the NCAA Championship.
Kim, a product of Chapel Hill, N.C., received WGCA First Team All-American accolades for the first time in her career, after earning second team and honorable mention honors as a freshman and sophomore, respectively.
One of the hottest golfers in the nation to conclude the season, Kim placed in the top 11 of her final four stroke play events, including a tied for fifth finish at the NCAA Championship with rounds of 74, 67, 72 and 73 for a 2-under, 286.
