VANCOUVER, B.C. – Behind a tournament-best 13 birdies over 36 holes, Duke University women’s golf freshman Gina Kim is tied for first overall with a seven-under-par, 135, at the Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship, which is being played at Marine Drive Golf Club in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Kim is tied first at seven-under along with Yealimi Noh and Dylan Kim with 36 holes remaining.
Featuring an afternoon tee time Monday, Kim opened action on hole No. 10 and after a par on her first hole she reeled off three straight birdies on holes 11 through 13 to get to three-under.
