Duke kicker Ross Martin recently became the program’s career leader in field goals made, after making a 34 yard kick during the 2nd quarter of the Blue Devils’ rout of NCCU over the weekend. His 56 career field goals breaks the school record previously held by Sims Lenhardt (1996-99), and what’s even more impressive is that he broke the record for most field goal makes without having to break the record for the most field goals attempted.
Senior Ross Martin has already had an excellent career for the Blue Devils and is already one of the top kickers in Duke Football history breaking numerous records as Duke Football’s all-time leader in points accounted for, points per game, field goal percentage, PAT’s made, and more.
