After a disappointing First Round 77 at The Open, former Blue Devil Kevin Streelman posted one of the lowest Second Round scores at Royal Portrush on Friday with a six-under, 65.
Justin Harding, Xander Schauffele, and Rory McIlroy were the only other players on the course to shoot a 65 on Friday, McIlroy was the only one not to make the +1 cut after he shot an eight over 79 on Thursday.
Streelman got his round started off on the right foot with two straight birdies and birdies in three of the first four holes, but stumbled on the eight hole with his lone bogey on the day.
