We first became aware that something had happened in the basketball world when we started seeing tweets saying OMG and “Pray for the family.”
Things like that.
When we saw Nolan Smith send a tweet out to the Clarke family at first we thought something might have happened to former Blue Devil Marty Clark, but then realized that younger players probably wouldn't be as upset about someone who played in the ‘90s and he didn’t spell Clark with an E.
Then we saw it was Kentucky’s Terrence Clarke, dead in a car accident in LA.
Apparently, according to TMZ Sports, he was struck by someone else who ran him into a pole and then a wall.
