DURHAM, N.C. – Following her successful playing career as part of the Duke women's soccer program, former Blue Devil standout Kelly Cobb traded in her cleats for scrubs as she entered the medical field as a registered nurse. Almost six years later, Cobb finds herself on the frontlines of fighting the COVID-19 pandemic as a RN at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
Cobb played in 78 career games across her Duke career, making 63 starts across her four seasons from 2011-14. She closed out her career ranking 12th on Duke's all-time charts with eight game-winning goals, 10th with three multi-goal games and 11th on the goals list with 25.
