Justise Winslow’s NBA career hasn’t been as straightforward as he probably would like. After his great run at Duke in 2014-15, he went #10 to Miami and has had numerous injuries ever since.
At 6-6 and from a highly athletic family - his father Rickie was part of Houston’s famed Phi Slama Jamma, his sister played basketball for Houston as well, and his brother played football for Dartmouth.
The thing is though it’s impossible to predict how the human body will age or whose will endure. We saw this with Jabari Parker whose knee problems have limited a highly promising NBA career and even more so with Harry Giles, who was on track to a brilliant NBA career when knee injuries slowed his career.
