DURHAM – Former Duke track & field and cross country standout Juliet Bottorff has been named as one of nine prominent men and women to be elected to the Delaware Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2022, as announced by the Delaware Sports Museum & Hall of Fame Wednesday afternoon.
Bottorff joins Katelyn Falgowski, Dave Frederick, Joe Holloway, Bob King, Khadijah Rushdan, Bob Shillinglaw, Devon Still and Gene Thompson in the star-studded class. The nine standouts, who represent the sports of football, basketball, track & field, field hockey, lacrosse, and harness racing, as well as sports writing, will be honored at the state's premier sports banquet on Thursday, May 12, at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington.
