Jones Selected as Tewaaraton Award Finalist

DURHAM, N.C.—Duke University junior midfielder Myles Jones joined elite company as one of the five finalists for the 2015 Tewaaraton Award presented by Under Armour as announced by the Tewaaraton Foundation Thursday. The Tewaaraton Award is presented annually to the nation’s top men’s and women’s lacrosse players.

Jones, a two-time All-ACC honoree, is the eighth Blue Devil and seventh under head coach John Danowski to earn the Tewaaraton finalist distinction. Wesley Berg (Denver), Matt Kavanagh (Notre Dame), Kevin Rice (Syracuse) and Lyle Thompson (Albany) join Jones as finalists.

“These finalists have been chosen among many worthy candidates by the game’s top coaches on the Tewaaraton selection committees,” said Jeffrey Harvey, chairman of The Tewaaraton Foundation.
