DURHAM, N.C.—For the second consecutive season, Duke senior midfielder Myles Jones has been named one of five finalists for the Tewaaraton Award. The Tewaaraton Award is given annually to the nation’s top men and women’s lacrosse player.
Jones is one of seven Blue Devils to earn the distinction and one of six under head coach John Danowski. He is the fourth Duke player to be selected as a finalist in multiple years, joining Matt Danowski (2005, 2007, 2008), Zack Greer (2008, 2009) and Ned Crotty (2009, 2010).
The 2016 ACC Offensive Player of the Year, Jones will go down in history as arguably the best midfielder to wear a Duke uniform and one of the best to play Division I lacrosse.
