DURHAM, N.C.—Former Duke midfield standout Myles Jones was selected in the fourth round of the 2016 National Lacrosse League Draft by the New England Black Wolves. Jones was taken with the 37th pick overall.
The NLL is a professional indoor box lacrosse league featuring nine teams overall. The league plays its games in the winter and spring ranging from January to June. The National Lacrosse League currently plays an 18-game regular season with three teams from each division qualifying for postseason play.
Jones is coming off of his rookie season in Major League Lacrosse, finishing his first season with 17 goals, including four two-point scores, and 13 assists for 34 points.
