DURHAM – TopDrawerSoccer.com released its postseason awards for the 2020-21 campaign on Monday as Duke sophomore Sophie Jones earned a spot on the Best XI Second Team.
Jones becomes the 10th player in program history to collect a Best XI postseason honor from TopDrawerSoccer. Duke now owns 12 all-time Best XI selections with each coming since the 2008 season.
The recognition adds to an already impressive list of accolades for Jones in her sophomore campaign. The midfielder from Menlo Park, Calif., was selected to the All-ACC First Team and ACC All-Tournament Team in the fall, and entered the spring season as a member of the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List.
