DURHAM – After a solid junior campaign, Duke's Garrett Johns finished in the top-50 of the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings sponsored by Tennis-Point.
The Blue Devils' top singles player came in at No. 49 after representing Duke during the 2022 NCAA Singles Championship last month. The Atlanta, Ga., native became the first Blue Devil in the national singles competition since Nicholas Alvarez made the field in 2018. He finished the season with a 19-10 overall singles mark, including a 13-7 record in dual action.
On the year, Johns held an 8-8 mark against nationally ranked opponents, including a match-clinching victory over No.
