DURHAM, N.C. – Junior safety Jeremy McDuffie has started both of Duke’s games in the Strike safety slot. He made the successful transition from cornerback during spring drills.

At the end of the spring session, McDuffie received co-Most Improve Defensive Player honors along with sophomore defensive end Tre Hornbuckle. Once spring football wrapped up, McDuffie spent time with the Duke track & field program. He earned All-ACC citations this past spring in the triple jump (50-9.25 feet; 5th place; 2nd team All-ACC) and 110-meter hurdles (14.35; 4th place; 2nd team All-ACC) at the league’s outdoor championship meet in Atlanta, Ga.
