Duke Blue Devils All-America safety Jeremy Cash will miss the New Era Pinstripe Bowl against Indiana after undergoing surgery on his right wrist Wednesday.
Cash, the ACC's defensive player of the year, earned unanimous first-team All-America honors after racking up 101 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, eight quarterback pressures, four pass breakups, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery despite playing with the wrist injury all season.
"We're all certainly disappointed for Jeremy, especially in the sense that he'll miss being on the field with his teammates for his final game in a Duke uniform," Duke coach David Cutcliffe said in a statement.
