DURHAM – Duke women's lacrosse graduate student Maddie Jenner was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2023 Academic All-District Women's At-Large team, the organization announced Tuesday.
The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced June 22.
Jenner earns the honor for the first time in her career.
Jenner returned to the circle in 2023 for her final year of eligibility as arguably the best in the sport at the draw.
