DURHAM, N.C. – Jay Bilas has come to Cameron Indoor Stadium in many different roles, from a player to a coach to a broadcaster and even as a parent. But no matter the reason he’s there, the connection to his alma mater is still present.
“There’s never been a time that I’ve come back to Duke and there hasn’t been an emotional connection here,” Bilas said. “I grew up here in a lot of ways.”
Like many former Blue Devils, Bilas’ connection to Duke remains so strong because of the continued presence of head coach Mike Krzyzewski.
