Jack White Playing for Australia in World University Games

Rising Duke men’s basketball senior Jack White will compete for the Australian National Team at the 2019 World University Games this summer in Naples, Italy.

The tournament is the largest multi-sport event apart from the Olympic Games and features almost 10,000 athletes who are currently completing university studies. The World University Games begin July 3 and run through July 14.

Sixteen teams will battle for the gold medal in the men’s and women’s basketball competitions, with Australia set to battle Czech Republic, Israel and Mexico in the men’s Group A. White’s squad features 10 other NCAA Division-I players, including Miami’s Dejan Vasiljevic, Stanford’s Isaac White, St.
