KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Sophomore epee Dean Ischiropoulos traveled to Kansas City, Mo., for this weekend’s November North American Cup (NAC), finishing 42nd out of 225 competitors in Junior Men’s Epee Friday.
Ischiropoulos busted out of the gates strong, claiming victories in four of his five pool play matches and compiling a +11 indicator to earn the 41st seed and a first-round bye. The Media, Pa., native earned a hard-fought win against his first opponent in elimination play, recording a 15-13 victory to advance to the round of 64.
