During the David Cutcliffe era at Duke, quarterback play has been vastly improved over what we saw under Ted Roof and Carl Franks.
Duke has a pretty nice history of quarterbacks when you consider the likes of Sonny Jurgensen, Ben Bennett, and Ace Parker, the guy who played tailback, defensive back, and quarterback on his way to a top 10 finish in the 1936 Heisman voting. But since his arrival in Durham, Coach Cut has displayed his well-known expertise in coaching quarterbacks and the trajectory of that position for Duke’s program continues to look even better.
