TRAKAI, Lithuania – Duke rowing incoming freshman Anne Klok was a member of the first-place finishing boat in quadruple sculls at the Junior World Rowing Championships. More than 700 athletes from 59 nations traveled to Trakai, Lithuania, to compete from August 2-6.
“Anne is Duke rowing at its finest,” head coach Megan Cooke Carcagno said. “Especially after winning her heat, I expect she’ll have a great week representing the Netherlands in the 4x. She’s exactly the kind of competitor who feels at home at Duke. We’re so proud of her already, now it’s time to watch her shine.
