It’s hard to imagine anyone beating Gonzaga right now and for UCLA, it’ll be a real challenge. It’s not that it’s impossible. It’s just that no one has managed to figure out how yet.
There are a few things that could happen to help UCLA.
First, Gonzaga could tighten up although that hasn’t happened yet. It happened to UNLV in 1991 and Kentucky in 2015 as both teams came tantalizingly close to undefeated championship seasons, only to lose in the semifinals of the Final Four.
There’s also a chance that Gonzaga could be overconfident and thus vulnerable, or look ahead to Monday night.
