DURHAM, N.C. – Sophomore Azurá Stevens registered her seventh double-double of the season to lead the 12th-ranked Duke Blue Devils past the Western Carolina Catamounts Tuesday night in Cameron Indoor Stadium, 84-47. The victory moves the Blue Devils’ record to 10-3, while the Catamounts drop to 3-9 on the year.
Stevens finished with 21 points on 9-of-13 (.692) shooting while hauling in 10 rebounds to go with three assists and three blocks. Joining the Raleigh, N.C., product in double-figures were redshirt sophomore Rebecca Greenwell and junior Oderah Chidom with 13 each, while freshman Faith Suggs poured in a career-high eight points, all in the second half.
