DURHAM, N.C. – The U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team head coach Michelle French named the 21 players who will represent the United States at the 2016 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup Thursday with Duke University freshman Brooke Heinsohn selected. The squad will travel to Papua New Guinea and compete from Nov. 13 through Dec. 3, 2016.
Heinsohn, a native of Norfolk, Mass., is redshirting the 2016 campaign with the Blue Devils due to her training with the national team in preparation for the World Cup. The 6-1 goalkeeper was listed as the top goalkeeper in the class coming out of high school.
