LANCASTER, Pa. – Duke women's golf sophomore Rylie Heflin collected seven birdies on Wednesday en route to carding a 4-under-par, 70, and placed second overall in the 86th Pennsylvania Women's Amateur, which was held at the Lancaster Country Club in Lancaster, Pa.
A native of Avondale, Pa., Heflin registered birdies on No. 3, No. 4 and No. 7 on her way to making the turn with a 3-under, 33. She opened the back nine with back-to-back birdies to get to 5-under-par. After a double-bogey on No. 12, Heflin rebounded with two straight birdies on the 13th and 14th holes to return to 5-under.
