ATLANTA – Duke redshirt senior Conner Hartmann turned in a dominant performance at the 50th annual NWCA All-Star Classic at McCamish Pavilion Sunday with an 8-1 victory over No. 5 Max Huntley of Michigan. Hartmann is the first Blue Devil wrestler to compete in the prestigious event.
“I agree with what they said on ESPN that he had the most dominant performance of the night,” said head coach Glen Lanham. “He just looks good. He was missing a couple key things last year, just some strength. He got that and he’s ready to roll and make a run.
