DURHAM, N.C.—Duke redshirt senior Conner Hartmann has been named the Ronald McDonald House Charities Duke Student-Athlete of the Week following his dominant performance for the Blue Devils over the weekend. Hartmann recorded two falls in a 1-1 weekend for Duke to earn his first career ACC weekly award.
Hartmann recorded a team-best 12 points on the weekend as Duke dropped a 27-15 decision to No. 16 Stanford Saturday but came back to defeat Cal Poly, 28-18, Sunday.
A two-time All-American at 197 pounds, Hartmann pinned Michael Sojka of Stanford at the 4:36 mark of their bout, giving the Blue Devils six points against the 16th-ranked Cardinal.
