Former Blue Devil Harry Giles was headed for greatness before his knee injuries slowed his career. He had a huge reputation in high school and was the #1 player in his class, ahead of guys like Lonzo Ball, Dennis Smith Jr. and former Duke teammate Jayson Tatum, all of whom were drafted ahead of him.
He went to Sacramento with the 20th pick in 2017 had his moments with the Kings and the Portland Trailblazers.
But he still hasn’t gotten to where people thought he would.
Now he’s signed a non-guaranteed contract with the LA Clippers, who need some front court help.
