We saw a tweet earlier from Dick Vitale that said Sunday was his 80th birthday. That’s hard to believe.
He’s kept a lot of vitality and youth and obviously passion for the game that he loves so much.
So we hope he had a great birthday and thanks for everything Dickie V! It’s been a great ride.
Every stadium in America ought to offer him a seat whenever he wants it. He gets on everyone’s nerves at some point, but there’s no question that he has given his heart and soul for the game and, when you get down to basics, the man has a really good heart.
