DURHAM – Duke field hockey's junior goalie Piper Hampsch has been named Duke's PNC Achievers Student-Athlete of the Week, following her work in goal to guide Duke to two top-20 victories to open the season.
Hampsch had an outstanding start to the 2022 season, anchoring the Blue Devils to a pair of top-20 victories over the weekend. Hampsch made 11 saves on the opening weekend, allowing just one goal in 157:38 of action and finishing with a 0.38 goals against average and a .917 save percentage.
