INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Sophomore Bryn Hammarberg secured All-America honors with a 10th-place finish in men’s epee Friday afternoon at the NCAA Fencing Championships in Indianapolis, Ind.
With the men’s events completed, the Blue Devils head into the women’s half of the championship in eighth place in the team standings with 56 points.
Notre Dame continues to lead the way with 86 points, followed by Ohio State (86), Columbia/Bernard (77), St. John’s (75) and Harvard (73) to round out the top five.
"We saw some very, very good fencing from our guys yesterday and today,” said head coach Alex Beguinet.
