GREENSBORO, N.C. – For the third time this season, Duke men's soccer goalkeeper Eliot Hamill has been named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week, as the league announced on Tuesday.
With this third award, it marks the second time that an ACC player has won three ACC Defensive Player of the Week nods since the ACC Player of the Week Award split into offensive and defensive in 2015 (joining Virginia's Jeff Caldwell).
Hamill is coming off another shutout victory, this time over Syracuse in a 1-0 decision on Sept.
