DURHAM, N.C. – Senior attackman Justin Guterding scored five goals and handed out four assists to lead No. 4 Duke to a 13-9 win over visiting Boston University in the regular season finale for both squads on Saturday afternoon at Koskinen Stadium.
The Blue Devils improve to 13-3 on the year while the Terriers fall to 8-9. Duke is expected to receive an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament, with the annual selection show scheduled for tonight at 9 p.m., live on ESPNU.
After falling behind, 2-0, early in the contest, the Blue Devils scored eight straight goals – including three by Guterding – to claim an 8-2 lead at intermission.
