DURHAM, N.C. – Senior attackman Justin Guterding posted eight points on five goals and three assists to propel No. 2 Duke to an 18-6 victory over visiting High Point on Thursday night at Koskinen Stadium. The Blue Devils have scored 18 goals in each of its first two games and held teams to a combined 10 goals.
Behind one goal and two assists from Guterding, the Blue Devils scored the night’s first six goals and held a 9-2 advantage at intermission. Six more markers – including a pair by Reilly Walsh – for Duke in the third quarter pushed the lead to 15-4 after 45 minutes of action.
