DURHAM, N.C.—Duke men’s lacrosse senior attackman Justin Guterding has been named as one of five finalists for the 2018 Tewaaraton Award as announced by the Tewaaraton Foundation Thursday evening. The award is presented annually to the nation’s top men and women’s lacrosse players.
Guterding joins a group of eight Blue Devils to earn the distinction of a Tewaaraton Award finalist. Two Blue Devils have won the award – Matt Danowski (2007) and Ned Crotty (2010). The other four finalists are Ben Reeves of Yale, Maryland's Connor Kelly, Denver’s Trevor Baptiste and Loyola’s Pat Spencer.
