Guterding Named Duke Student-Athlete of the Week

DURHAM, N.C.—Duke men’s lacrosse attackman Justin Guterding has been named the Duke Student-Athlete of the Week following his nine-point outing against Boston University. Guterding also was named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week for the sixth time for his effort.

Guterding joined elite company Sunday as he tallied five goals to join former Blue Devil Zack Greer as the only two players in NCAA Division I history to record 200 career goals. The senior captain pushed his career total to 202, leaving him five shy of passing Greer’s NCAA record of 206.

In addition to throwing in five goals, Guterding dished out four assists to finish with nine points – his ninth game with at least five points this season.
